SEA Change - Action Plan

Silver Award Action Plan

Equity Climate Communication SEA Change logic model

During the SEA Change Silver Award application process, UC Davis identified key priorities to address in the coming years as part of the Silver Award Action Plan, centering around Equity, Climate, and Communication.

Utilizing the knowledge gained from our comprehensive self-assessment, including interviews and faculty and staff surveys, we were able to broadly identify and partition our most important and impactful findings into a modified Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Barriers (SWOB) analysis.

  • Identified strengths are those that are so engrained in our policies and practices that we are confident that they will endure without risk.
  • Identified weaknesses represent areas of concern not unexpected of a public university.
  • Identified opportunities represent an aspirational maturation of our own SEA Change identity following our commitment to our Action Plan.
  • Identified barriers are indicative of the environmental contexts that we operate under even while we are resolute in pursuing our campus ideals and values.

These analysis thus forms the foundation of our Silver Award application, including Equity, Climate, and Communication.
