Dewey Ryu, Professor Emeritus of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and Biological and Agricultural Engineering, led successful research that stretched from biochemical engineering to pathways of gene expression to gene regulation and protein expression of adult stem cells for controlled proliferation and therapeutic applications.
