Managing Disability Accommodation Requests for Academics Including Remote Teaching Requests - December 1, 2022
Engaging faculty and academics on matters related to medical accommodations can be challenging. The goal is to initiate an interactive process to consider what accommodations, if any, can enable the individual to carry out the essential functions of their position. This session explores all that’s involved in providing reasonable accommodations and managing medical leaves for UC Davis faculty/academics with the additional pieces related to returning to in-person instruction.
Chairs Bag Lunch Open Session - November 16, 2022
This meeting was the first in a series of quarterly Open Sessions we intend on offering throughout the 2022-23 academic year. Chairs may submit questions and topics for discussion beforehand or during the freeform session and have the Vice Provost and Academic Affairs provide answers and guidance.
