Setting the Stage Workshop

The STEAD Setting the Stage for Excellence and Diversity in Faculty Recruitment Workshop is offered each Spring and is designed to provide department chairs, department staff, recruitment committee chairs, and college administrators with research-informed insights, tools and strategies they can incorporate into the search plan for each faculty recruitment. This 50-min workshop from STEAD covers design recommendations for maximizing the diversity and excellence of faculty applicant pools and to set the stage for equitable review of applicants. It is geared for decision makers involved in the planning and design of the search process (e.g., Deans, Associate Deans, Department Chairs, Search Committee Chairs) as well as staff who are involved in faculty recruitment.

This year's workshop will be held on May 2 from 10am-11am via Zoom. Please register here or through the prompt on the right hand side of this page.
