Kenneth Burtis
Professor Emeritus of Genetics and former faculty advisor to the Chancellor and Provost, Kenneth Burtis made important contributions to the literature of DNA repair in Drosophila; specifically, the molecular basis of interstrand crosslink repair.
Tonya Kuhl, Professor of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, leads the Surface and Interfacial Science Laboratory at Davis. Dr. Kuhl's research begins with the measurement of chemical properties of complex fluid systems, particularly those from renewable, biocompatible and biodegradeable elements, to produce enhanced new materials.
